Will Price from Hummer Winbald has today’s Great VC Blog of the Day up titled Isolating Causality: Bad Market or Bad Company. He could have titled it “Isolating Casualty” (that’s how I read it the first time.)
Today’s “Great VC Post” comes from Fred Wilson and is on the concept of how a VC thinks about “reserves.” Fred is very specific in the post about how his firm (Union Square Ventures) thinks about reserves.
Rob Shurtleff (known as his blog as FOO Rob) has a great post up titled Bridges to Nowhere. While this belongs in Fred Wilson’s archive of VC Cliches, it’s a good explanation of how bridges can fail to support a startup.
Rick Segal has three great blog posts up this 4th of July weekend. He’s Canadian so I expect he is still working – maybe we’ll see a fourth from him. Term Sheets vs. Intent 3 VC Questions You Should Not Answer Dancing With the One Who Brung Ya Happy 4th Rick. Keep writing.
